Returns Policy

We want you to love your Safa Boutique purchase! If you're not completely satisfied, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • All tags and labels still attached
  • In original packaging where applicable
  • Not marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"

Items Not Eligible for Return:

  • Final sale items
  • Hijabs and shawls (change of mind returns only - faulty items can be returned)
  • Underwear and intimate apparel (for hygiene reasons)
  • Earrings and accessories marked as non-returnable
  • Gift cards
  • Items damaged due to misuse or wear

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact Us: Email us at returns@safaboutique.com.au with your order number and reason for return. We'll provide you with return instructions and a return authorization number.
  2. Package Your Return: Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging. Include your return authorization number and order confirmation.
  3. Ship Your Return: Send the package to the return address provided in your return authorization email. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
  4. Receive Your Refund: Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Faulty or Incorrect Items: We cover return shipping costs
  • Store Credit Returns: Free return shipping label provided

Exchanges

We currently don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different size or color, please return the original item with its tags and labels attached and place a new order. This ensures you receive your new item as quickly as possible. Unfortunately we can not exchange items with tags removed.

Pro tip: To avoid missing out on your preferred size or style, we recommend placing your new order before returning the original item.

Refunds

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item(s) and process your refund within 7-10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.

Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Store Credit

Prefer store credit? We offer store credit with a bonus! Choose store credit instead of a refund and receive an additional 10% of your return value to use on your next purchase. Store credit never expires.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care in packaging your order, but sometimes things go wrong in transit. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging
  3. Include your order number and a description of the issue

We will arrange for a replacement or full refund immediately, including return shipping costs. Your satisfaction is our priority!

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
